Identify the author

Dog-eared covers,
enclose finding text,
missing pages I seek,
unknown chapters ahead.

Writing my dreams,
in the blank pages ahead;
line after line filled,
with hopes in my head.

It may well change,
like chalk on slate,
but at least I'll know,
the author was me not fate
                            author name?

In the downhill of life, when I find I'm declining,
With just an elbow chair or a cot for reclining.
My heart at peace shall never be,
Till I can see a wide green sea.
When the night breaks into a dawn,
My window should be overlooking a lawn.
When the call comes to rest in the tomb,
I wish to take at least one flower home.

   A walk By The Woods
I was walking by the woods, beneath the trees covered with snow
And a river with a never resting flow,
For that moment my mind was free, until I saw a bird on the trunk of a tree.
In a merry voice it was singing a note,
Whose sweetness in the air did float
It made me remember about the days that were passed,
The song my dear one sang for me last,
Whom in that stormy I lost,
The night when the trees were covered with frost.

I finally got who the bird was.
But she had no time to wait for me,
Nor I had wings to follow her.

Though we claim that science and poetry are quite ironic but believe me, it's not. Instead I would say they have similarities. I have listed them accordingly:

1)Both need dedication

2)Both need explanation and systematic approach.
